HOT (Hurricane of Trash), 2023

In collaboration with Jaguar Design Studio, Cisco, and Clean Miami Beach, HOT (Hurricane of Trash), was designed, fabricated, and installed by Joanne Wang and Nick McBrian for Cisco Partner Summit in 2023 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Crafted from plastic waste collected from Miami's beaches over several weeks, the art installation serves as a commentary on climate change, plastic pollution, and consumerism.

Following its display at the summit, the sculpture was donated to Clean Miami Beach and later showcased at the annual Aspen Ideas: Climate conference in 2024.
